How we work
How does the repair process work?
Every instrument starts with an evaluation — we don't begin any repair without one. During the evaluation, we inspect the instrument and determine exactly what it needs. The evaluation fee is $50.
Does the $50 evaluation fee go toward the repair?
Yes — if you move forward with the repair, the $50 is credited toward the total cost. If you decide not to proceed, the evaluation fee is separate and non-refundable.
How long does the evaluation take, and when will I hear back?
Turnaround varies depending on the instrument and the issue. We'll call or email you with our findings and a cost estimate as soon as the evaluation is complete.
How long do repairs take?
Repair turnaround varies by job — some repairs are quick, others (like full overhauls) take longer. We'll give you a time estimate once we know what the instrument needs.
Do you offer rush repairs?
Yes. If you need your instrument back faster, we offer rush/expedited service for an additional fee.
Do repairs come with a warranty?
Warranty coverage varies depending on the type of repair. We'll let you know what's covered when we give you your estimate.
Can I mail in my instrument, or do I have to drop it off in person?
Both options are available. You can drop your instrument off in person or mail it in for evaluation and repair.
What instruments do you work on?
All woodwind and brass instruments — student, private, professional/artist, and vintage. No instrument is too old or too specialized.
Who do you work with?
We work with school music programs, private students, professional and touring artists, and collectors with vintage instruments.
How do I pay?
We accept standard in-person payment as well as online/invoice payment.
